Mind-blowingly beautiful food! Exceptional service, cool, warm atmosphere. You can see that everyone is having a fantastic time. My partner and I chose the Signature Experience, our favourite was the Wagu! I am grateful that the team easily offered delicious gluten free options. I would highly recommend Maha for a really special Melbourne fine dining experience, for oneself or as a gift idea.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable dining experience at Maha! From the moment we walked in, everything about Maha impressed us — the warm lighting, elegant layout, and inviting atmosphere set the tone perfectly. We chose the Soufra banquet, and it was honestly one of the best dining decisions we’ve made in Melbourne. Each course delivered an incredible contrast of flavours and textures — bold, rich, and beautifully balanced. You could tell every dish was crafted with real care and creativity. The staff were outstanding — friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about the food. They made the whole experience feel effortless and special. Incredible Cocktails as well For the quality, service, and attention to detail, Maha offers one of the best-value fine dining experiences in Melbourne, easily on par with restaurants charging far more. It’s the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression — we’ll definitely be back.

We had the pleasure of dining here for our anniversary and it was unforgettable. Amazing service and the food was perfect. All the little touches like warm hand towels just added to the experience. I am a pescatarian and they catered all the dishes to accommodate.

Fine dining is not just about the food, it’s the whole experience and Maha has nailed it. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance, the staff, how we were treated was brilliant. Then came the food, the subtle flavours of the chickpeas, the most delicious hummus I’ve ever had, the chicken wings, the kingfish, just devine. Then came the Lamb absolutely delish, in fact all of the meal was. The food was only topped by the quality service by the waitstaff, the sommelier wine suggestion was on point and our waitress was attentive and pleasant. I can’t rate Maha more highly.

Today, I visited a restaurant confidently recommended by an Australian friend. The moment I walked in, I was struck by the lively atmosphere. The restaurant was already packed with people, and the overall vibe was incredibly hip and fantastic. ​In fact, I didn't even have to choose the menu. My friend took care of everything and ordered the course meal for us. And that choice was absolutely brilliant! ​With every dish that came out, I was so busy eating that I couldn't gather my senses due to the 'incredibly stunning and delicious' visuals and flavors. The delicate plating was a treat for the eyes, and the rich, exotic tastes filling my mouth satisfied my palate completely. Every course flowed in perfect harmony, making me feel like I had been treated to a true gourmet experience. ​All the wines we paired with the food were excellent, but the Raki was a first for me. It had a unique and appealing aroma and taste, and after a few glasses, it truly made me feel tipsy! Thanks to the pleasant buzz, I enjoyed the meal even more. ​From the ambiance and the food to the new drinking experience! Everything about my time here 'was to my liking.' I completely understood why my Australian friend had recommended it with such confidence.

This was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to in my life. My friend and I had an incredible time. The service was great and the wait staff was so attentive and very friendly and helpful with menu recommendations and options. It was my birthday and I truly feel this was the perfect choice. Every single dish was made with such precision and the flavour profiles for each dish complimented each course. This was such a great food journey.

Maha is a fantastic dining spot in Melbourne, though it can be a little tricky to find at first – you need to head downstairs, and the entrance feels dark at a glance. Once inside, however, the space is always bustling with energy and a great vibe. The food here is truly outstanding. I tried both the full vegetarian tasting menu and the four-course tasting menu, and every dish was beautifully executed with incredible flavor. While the team can be a little inflexible with menu adjustments, the quality of what they serve more than makes up for it. The ambiance is elegant yet lively, and the wine recommendations were spot on, complementing the dishes perfectly. Overall, a memorable dining experience and definitely worth a visit if you’re in Melbourne.
